Traveling to live in Ladakh with a Tibetan family, at the base of the Himalayas over 9,000ft, was a life changing experience. The sparsely populated region was heaven, each blink another beautiful story and captured memory. A traveler with a camera can have many different outcomes. I specifically was interested the way the residents lived in their environments, the daily life and tradition that remains in the walls of homes and monasteries. Peoples eyes and skin told stories, the camera for me was an outsider's way of telling my own story.
